Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Arinto ("Arinto," "we," "our," or "us") is a website monitoring service operated by 5280 Technology LLC, a Colorado limited liability company doing business as Arinto. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Information you collect
- Account registration data. We collect the names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing or physical addresses of authorized users, together with company name and login credentials.
- Technical website metrics. As part of monitoring, we crawl technical data from your sites, including server response times, HTTP status and error codes, SSL/TLS certificate data, DNS records, response headers, uptime results, page-speed metrics, and similar signals.
- Website content data. To evaluate site health, we temporarily fetch and parse text, HTML, and metadata from your public-facing URLs, and we cache that content and the results to produce your historical reports.
- Automated telemetry. When users sign into your dashboard, we collect standard telemetry such as cookies, IP addresses, browser and device type, and log data.
- Connected accounts. Where you link a third-party property (such as Google Analytics, Search Console, or a business listing), the identifiers and read-only data needed to report on it.
- Billing information. Handled by our payment processor; we receive limited details such as plan, status, and the last four digits of a card, not full card numbers.
- Support and help interactions. Messages you send us and questions you ask the in-app help assistant.
2. How we use the data
- Service delivery. To run scheduled monitoring checks and to email uptime and health alerts and reports to the authorized users.
- Customer support. To troubleshoot issues — for example, when a monitoring check fails or returns a false positive.
- Billing and fraud prevention. To process payments securely through our third-party payment gateway and to detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Product improvement and AI. To develop, train, and improve the Service, our detection algorithms, and our AI help assistant and models. Content and inputs that agencies, owners, and client-portal users enter into the Service — including messages to support and the questions and conversations you have with the in-app help assistant — may be used for these purposes. Where practical we use aggregated or de-identified data. This data is never sold and is not used for behavioral or targeted advertising.
- Security and legal. To secure the Service, authenticate users, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Data sharing and third-party disclosures
- No selling of data. We do not sell business-user information or website crawl data to third-party data brokers.
- Your agency. If you access the Service through an agency (a reseller of the Service), we share your account and monitoring data with that agency, which manages your account.
- Sub-processors. We share data with essential infrastructure partners who process it on our behalf to run the Service — for example, our cloud hosting providers (such as AWS and Google Cloud), our payment processor (such as Stripe), email-delivery and uptime-monitoring providers, and our AI provider — under contracts requiring them to protect it.
- Legal compulsion. We will release information to law enforcement or other authorities only where required to do so by a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or as otherwise required by law.
- Business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
4. Data retention and security
- Retention windows. We keep account information for as long as your subscription is active. Historical website crawl and health data is retained on a rolling basis during your subscription and is purged approximately 30 days after cancellation or termination. We may retain certain records longer where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
- Security commitments. We use commercial best practices to protect your information, including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest (such as AES), along with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your rights and Colorado compliance
- Colorado Privacy Act (CPA). Even in a business-to-business context, Colorado residents may have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of their personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. We will honor applicable rights and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
- Other jurisdictions. Depending on where you live, you may have similar rights under other applicable privacy laws.
- How to exercise your rights. Submit a privacy request — including access, correction, or deletion — using the contact details in Section 8. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
6. Accounts managed by an agency
If your account is provided to you by an agency that resells the Service, that agency manages your account and is your primary point of contact, including for privacy requests. In that arrangement, we process your data on the agency's behalf as part of providing the Service. If you access the Service on the agency's own branded (white-label) website, you will see a version of this Policy that describes the Service in neutral terms, and privacy requests should be directed to the agency that provides your access.
7. Cookies, children, and changes
- Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in, keep your session secure, and remember your preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
- Children's privacy. The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
- Changes. We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
